I have seen the new 'solar roof shingles' and was wondering what problems I can expect if the shingles around them have to be replaced in the future.
We replaced the old roof 2 years ago with a good quality shingle. We are also thinking about pushing out the wall in the kitchen/dining room 10' x 30' long. This will give us more than enough room for the solar units, but we are still worried about what would happen if the roof needs repairs later.
