I have recently discovered that my dishwasher has been leaking for a very long time. about one year and it wasn't caused from a hose but a defect in the bottom part of the washer where the water gradually leaked and then became pouring...at least that is what the plumber was thinking...it cause mold and water damage. I went on line to check out new dishwashers and by reading reviews I wasn't the only one with this same problem and before we install a new one I think having a drip pan would help in preventing this to happen.
