Last week I caught the tail end of Debbie Travis's Painted House and didn't get the name of the product they used on top of an existing tile floor to make it look like limestone, can anyone tell me what the name of the product is and how to purchase it? Thank you,

I, too, saw this episode some time ago. I went to http://www.painted-house.com and sent them an e-mail. The company that supplied the product that was featured on the show no longer offers that product. Was Dryvit what they actually used, or a similar product? Do they offer DIY instructions? Their instructions all seem very "professional" oriented.
It appears that "Ritins Studio" of Toronto did this work, but their website is down and nobody answering the phone - 905-859-7633. I agree, the dryvit instructions are daunting, and I am in need of something more accessible to the consumer - any other ideas?
Anything new on this? I would love to do this in my bathroom and have been trying to find information since I saw the show. Called several paint contractors and no one knew anything.
My (ex) brother-in-law did Dryvit and from what I know about it (little) I wouldn't think it would work over tile?
Why in the world doesn't Ritins offer it anymore? It was an amazing product?!?!?

I owe a lot of people a big, but big, apology. I did the vvery ffrench Limostone floor and bath skirt on the horrid ceramic floor. The situation is as follows. I have literally had hundreds and hundreds of telophone calls every time Debbie's show is repeated. The vast majority from the USA. It was shot over 5 years ago, using my product, Ritstone. I never thought it would have such a tremendous response. Trouble was, I had sold my rights to my faux product line to a US paint conglomerate, with a 5 year no-compete clause. Due to the volume of calls it was unfortunately impossible for me to return them unless I was actually at my desk as they came in. Also, there was a non compete clause, and as their lawyers are better than mine, ...... I have since improved on this product, and tested it on many different surfaces including exteriors with sucess, e.g inside my shower stall on even more despicable pink tile c/o previous owners. The industry of floor coatings is a tricky one (lawyers again), more so than wall coatings! Far fewer people walk on walls than do on floors,hence my original reticence. Also,one has to be especially careful as to what substrate it goes on, there being so many, and how to prepare that existing tile for accepting Ritstone. Please write if you are interested, and I will respond. The 5 years are up and I'm ready to go again. Andre -- it is a shame that you lost so much in your fire -- I hope you have recovered from it. I, too, would like the info on your product. Can I use it in showers? Do you have some printed info and how much does it cost?
Andre, need info on your product ,faux finish industry is in dire need of this. I have tremendous requests for overlay on old ceramic floors and counters.
