I would like to mount a flat screen TV above our fireplace. It is a wood burning fireplace. Could this location potentially harm the television? Thanks

Consideration would be excessive heat, smoke "damage" and noise from FP ventilators. With the exception of the later, heat and smoke are usually not an issue if there is proper distance and proper ventilation. Also, in wall cabling could be a little cumbersome.
