I seem to be wearing out garage door rollers at a high rate, and the door appears to be sticking at the horizontal to vertical bend/track curve.
What is the best way to realign the track?
The rollers have been purchase at home centers and have carried brand names such as stanley or genie... so I don't think it is the rollers. I think it is the track is out of whack.

First off, you need to close the door and check its alignment with the door opening. It should be even distance all the way around. With the door in the closed position you measure from the side to the side and make sure that the track is the same distance apart. Now you need to see if the track is level both from the door opening to the end of the track and from side to side. To check that you will need a board that will span the distance across the door to both tracks. Raise and lower the track to level side to side then from front to back. May take a while but will help on the opening issues. The front to back level is not as critical as the side to side. But the front to back should be the same on both sides. If one is higher then the other the door will twist and cause binding. You can also measure from track to ceiling as long as the ceiling is not bowed or uneven in any way. If the floor above is a room you should be fine, if the framing above is just a garage frame, then use the level. The garage track should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch away from the edge of the garage door itself. If the distance is greater, then you need to loosen the bolts and slightly move the track in so its even and plumb with the door. Thats all you can do. Do not grease the track at all. The only things that should be lubed is the interior roller areas and a little oil on the hinges, but that is it. Some folks grease the track itself which can cuase binding and dirt build up.
