I have recently installed a heat pump high eff furnace and revented the house i kept the outdoor cold air return vent that was used in with my old furnace.
Now that I look at it I am wondering if I should have done that and or if it is really needed? Please help

Houston, we have a terminology problem.

What is meant by "reventing" the house?

And what is an OUTDOOR cold air return? If it's a outdoor air inlet, it's not a return, and if it's a return, it shouldn't be from the outside.
