I have a furnace about 12 years old. After adding on to my home and making a portion of the basement into a game/tv room, I now find that the furnace doesn't keep the house warm. If we want the upstairs bedrooms at 67 degrees, the thermostat has to be at 70 or more. Basement has cold and warm spots but not bad.
Since I can't afford a new furnace, which would then be sized correctly, what type of electric heaters would be best to use? I would need to use these possibly in the upstairs bedrooms, bathroom and in the basement.
I would appreciate any suggestions and advice.
Thanks
