I live at 6,000 feet elevation and have a wood deck made of 2x6 redwood on 4x8 girders every 16 inches to support the 209 inches of snow we get in an average year. My problem is my roof dripline drainage as the water collects and freezes. I can remove one 2x6 - 16ft deckboard but it would be unsafe. Any solutions?
