My fireplace has a gas connector that runs down to my basement. I do not have gas access in the neighborhood, however, I understand that I can use a propane tank. I would need to run a gas line from the fireplace access outside. I asked our current Gas company about installing the line, but they were no help. Who would I contact for a job like this? Thanks, Pats

Most plumbers/heating contractors will do this for you.
