I have been told of a retro fit can light kit that consits of a short electrical cord (one end screw into the exsisting fixture and the other end receives the light bulb. There is also a smaller cover and eyeball that fits over the old LARGE can. Anyone - please help! In a small town and lighting companys just shrug shoulders. Many thanks.
I think this is what you're looking for. I've used these and they work pretty well, but you're going to lose some lumens of light by going the low voltage route. Low Voltage retrofit
