...and you'd still need a typical washing machine standpipe arrangement, because this functions as an "air gap" which prevents waste water from entering the domestic water piping.

If I have a dedicated 2" waste pipe that runs directly into the main at about 6' off the ground. I want to install both a sink and a washer. Can I run the washer directly into the waste line and utilize the ejector pump exclusively for the sink either connected into the same waste line or another nearby line?
