I'm looking for an electric mechanism that would power cabinet shelves or drawers in and out horizontally. There are devices that will raise and lower shelves within a cabinet but I need in and out.

This does not seem to be a very common item.

I can make up something but thought an "off the shelf" solution would be more professional looking.

We do not have an electronic mechanicism, however we do have a "J" type swing up slide from Hafele that we really like. See page 602 of this catalog: http://www.hafele.com/us/external/catalog/Hinges/597-612.pdf
