Fisher&Pykel make cool looking 2 drawer dishwashers(retail $1,900+). However, before anyone of you buy any appliance ask who is it warrantied by.Stay away from DIRECT ENERGY in Canada. In USa-just ask the store.
We have been waiting 5 weeks for someone to come and fix brand new dishwasher...and they keep cancelling appointments. Yesterday we took it out and took it back to Lowes.
The best warranty is offered by Sears because Sears buys manyfacturer warrantys and have their own staff to fix it in reasonable time.
That's where we are going to buy the dishwasher.
The same goes for items like TV, stoves, fridges etc..
The item may be great, but it's a nightmare to get THEM to service it...BEWARE Please, and thank you.

Good advice but remember this. Warranties are repaired in many cases by independent contractors who are hired by the warranty company. If they do not have enough contractors who are doing this type of work in your area you will end up waiting a long time to get things fixed.
Sears is no different. Its all about who and how many repair companies they work with.
