We are trying to sell a home. When we had it painted I was told to paint the cabintes white. After all the staging was done the cabites stand out in this warm kitchen / den joint space. The counter tops look like like slate and teh room has cherry like flooring. I don't want to spend a ton and will have to do the job myself. Please give suggestions. I was hoping a stain could be applied to at least make them look aged or coffe stained.
I have white cabinets & am considering the same thing, as of recently. I see no reason why it wouldn't work since that's the finish I see on a lot of high-end cabinets. I am only concerned that I may need to put clear polyurethane over it (I'll use semi-gloss or matte) since I don't know that the glazing process will hold up to my cleaning the cabinets from spills, etc.
