Is it possible to repaint Geneva cabinets (metal, from the 1950's)?
Also, where could I find the plastic inserts for the cabinets?
Thanks.

Yes, you can. Someone painted most of ours before we bought the house. However, I would do them with electrostic paint if I were doing it. I am trying to find someone now who will do it. The regular painted finish is not nearly as nice.

I need 9 handles and inserts but can't find them so I've broken down and had some manufactured. I'm selling the extras from having them made. If anyone wants them please contact me at:

juliekfournier@hotmail.com

Let me know how many you want. I have a limited supply, I'm not in business for this, it's a one time thing.

Thanks, Julie Fournier, IDSA

Hi, I am interested in the extra inserts, but can you send a pic so I can see if they are the same kind. And how much are you asking. Thanks.

Also, do you know anything about having them electrostatically painted--like they do file cabinets and such?

Thanks, Susan

I have 18 handles without inserts. I am looking for a hinge for my cabinet door. If anyone is interested in the handles just let me know.

How exciting to hear other (crazies) out there restoring Geneva Cabinets. I found a Geneva Kitchen being demo-ed in Bethesda Md and grabbed them (15 pc) before they were tossed in the dumpster. I took them all apart had them soda blasted and powder coated for the mere sum of about $6500... They really look nice, and besides what's the point of dying with money in your pocket (don't talk to my kids.) I would love to get hold of the square plastic keeper inserts. Are they still available?

I am interested in the handles. Could you possibly send a picture so I can make sure they match my handles? (curved?)

Hi I just read your post and I was wondering if you still have some of the handles for the Geneva Cabinets. I have been searching for these for a while now. I am in need of 9 handles but I if you don't have that many, I still need as many of them as I can get. If you have some left please send me an e-mail with pictures to Cheno2112@hotmail.com Thank you.
