I currently purchased ready to assemble cabinets and have a section of base cabinets that have no wall to attach them to..We want to use this area as the breakfast bar. (this house was purchased after Hurricane katrina and everything was removed before purchase) there are two 2 x 4's on the floor where it appears cabinets were attached. How do I adhere these cabinets to the 2 x 4's, which are not the same dimentions as my cabinets, to make sure they are secure? I read that I need to adhere a second 2 x 4 and make an "L" shape with them to create a place to adhere the sides of the cabinet. The problem with this is I already have my ceramic tile down in my kitchen

Normally when we install cabinets we attach a 1/4 INSIDE the back of the cabinet (before the top goes on) and attach the 1/4 to the wall behind ths cabinet.
