We replaced our old tank-type water heater about 2 years ago. We installed a Tankless Water Heater. It has worked flawlessly since the day we installed it. The unit is very small and compact, yet provides an unlimited supply of hot water for our entire household. http://tankless-water-heater.100freemb.com
I am in the process of building a new house and have been considering using tankless w/h. What are the spec for your w/h as in size of family, how many baths etc. I would appreciate your input
I'm thinking of swaping mine out for a tankless. Did you go with a electric or gas. If electric, do you see a drop in voltage in the rest of the house when the thing kicks in. I see whole house units need 3-50amp breakers...
stay away from electical heaters. You will need a lot of power to handle a typical two and one half bath home. At least a 100 amps or more. Fine in areas of the country where electrical rates are low, but the rest of us, gas is much better.
we installed one in our home last year, saw a savings of almost 60% on our gas bill! They do work.
