Big delima. My husband wants ceramic tile, I want the laminate that locks together and looks like ceramic tile, but is a floating floor. What are the pos and cons of both? We also plan to have radiant heat floors underneath. My fear of ceramic is that it's so permanent, hard to remove if you don't like it down the road, it's heavy and harder and more expensive to install. Also, I see ceramic tile in kitchens where the grout is stained in heavy traffic areas...I hate that! Any advice from those with experience in this area would be appreciated. Thanks.
