Hi all,

I need to know quantity...because this is tubled stone which is very porous and has a lot of holes, i know i should you the lower estimate of coverage. I am looking at Enrich and Seal by Aquamix. It is expensive and i know I'll need alot of it and since I need to ship to the Caribbean, i need to get the amount i need right the first time! It is off white and i really want to enhance it as much as possible. I am thinking 3 coats...second coat an hour after first and 3rd coat after it finishes curing 48 hours later. Here's my main question...will the coverage be better on the 2nd two coats....or should i assume I will really need a gallone for every 500SF (the bottle says 500-1500SF coverage). Each gallon is $189!!!! and i have 2200SF...that is 13 gallons or $2457!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I crazy? I saw their other product "Stone Enhancer" but could not get a price online....i assume it is cheaper because it only lasts 3 years as opposed to 15. I dont' want to have to go through this again in 3 years! Any suggestions whould be tremendously appreciated. ALso, it says it darkedn grout....more than the stone?!?

Aquamix is the best product as far as sealers go. Buy 2 gallons.
Use a clean, brand new sponge to wipe on the sealer on tile before it is installed. Blot any pools of sealer residue with a clean rag after sitting for 10-15 minutes.

Install the tile.

Grout and wait a minimum of 3 days before adding second coat of sealer. This gives grout time to dry.

I think a thrid coat of sealer is unnecessary.

We usually do 2 coats sealer.
