I'm trying to figure out how thick my bathroom floor will be so I can match (or come close to) my future hardwood hallway.

I need to know approximately how thick will this be....

Tile (3/16)/thinset/ditra(1/8)/thinset/heating mat(1/8)/thinset.

Just not sure how thick the thinset ends up being after everything is bonded.

Correction to original post.

Just noticed I made a mistake on the tile thickness....it's 5/16 and not 3/16.

By the time all is said and done, the tile and thinset together will come to about 3/8". THe thinset doesn't add very much at all, even with the heavier notch trowels.
