I have installed new laminate flooring in my kitchen. It has been finished off with 1/4 round molding. But, I have not yet figured out how to finish the molding as it touches the end cap? or finish piece at the entry-way. It is a transition from the flooring to carpet.
I have a photo of the area I would like to post that shows the problem clearly. How do I do post it?

Does these pic help? The carpet is on a tack-strip and tucked down at the laminate/floor transition.
Thank you, but my problem/opportunity here is how to finish off the end of the 1/4 round that touches my already installed end cap/transition piece. I really think I have to post the photo of the problem, but can't post it.
Continue your quarter round up to the carpet. End it with a 45 degree back-slant cut (toe end at carpet edge)- (I hope you understand what I'm talking about.) I can't tell how high your end cap is, hopefully, the quarter round will just go across it, because you need something to finish it off and the carpet.
