Help, how do you make the seam not so visiable?

I understand new sheet rock vs old, I understand the joints must match up. I hear that gravity doesn't help, but I can't get rid of that seam line...Any hints or tips?.

Sand it down, use a can of spray texture and repaint the entire ceiling.
