Help! I attempted to paint my livingroom with a glaze/paint mixture. I painted over an oil-based primer. The glaze mixture "beaded up" and looks awful. Can I now paint over this with a water based primer and start over? Also, I'm using a very strong glaze with a very small amount of paint. Is this a problem/ no no?

Thanks

Did you wait for the oil primer to dry completely? Next question.......is it an oil based glaze? The amount of glaze should have nothing to do with this. The more glaze you use, the more translucent the coverage will be...the more base coat will show through.

Sounds like to much water in the ratio
