I am in the process of finishing off a bathroom shower in ceramic tile and was wondering what the functional differences between latex and acrylic modified thinset are (if any).

I used 1/2" Hardieboard for the wall's and I'm ready to tape the joints and get the tile up so any insight regarding Latex vs Acrylic additive would be much appreciated.
