We're remodeling our kitchen and tore out the old plaster walls so that we could insulate. We've insulated and are putting up blueboard for the new plaster walls. However, we're considering a ceramic tile backsplash and want to know if we can put ceramic tile over the blueboard? If not, will we have to put something else up in the ares of the kitchen where we want the ceramic tile backsplash?

Thanks.

It will be fine to use for the backsplash, just dont ever use it in wet areas like a tub/shower surround.
