Installing marble tile in the kitchen will leave me 1/2in. higher then where the oak flooring of the living room and dining room tresholds meet. Any ideas as to what to put there or do so we wont keep tripping when we go from the living room or dining room into the kitchen.
Thanks in advance.

There are several types of wood transitions that can be stained to match your existing hardwood. Go to a retail store that sells hardwood flooring. They should have samples of the transitions/reducers that they can order for you. Use a caulk that is color matched to the grout in the joint between the wood piece and the marble, just cement grout will crack and lift out in awhile.
