I have about 8 tiles that have either fallen or loosened on the ceiling part of our shower stall. What would be the easiest method to reattach them. The adhesives we've tried don't have enough stick to keep the tiles up while drying. Thanks for your help. Rhode Island Bob

I always use a modified thinset to set tiles on the ceiling

Thanks for your input! I imagine that thinset only comes in a powered form? Since we only have a handful of tiles to reapply. If so, I guess we just follow the directions on the bag. Will the tiles stick to the ceiling without being braced when we apply them? Hope so, I've gotten hit on the head a few times in the past using stuff that was supposed to be suitable for shower tiles, but didn't have the stickyness right from the start. Thanks again. I am a retired postal worker and I now work as an auto mechanic; so if I can reciprocate in any way, don't hesitate to drop me a line. Thanks RI Bob

Make sure you get full coverage of the thinset on the back of the tile, dont leave any bare spots.
Put the tile up on the ceiling and rock it back and forth about an inch, it will start to form a suction if the right amount of thinset was used.
Get it in place and let it set for 5 minutes, if it doesnt come down you did it right.
