I am considering removing the tile squares from our shower walls. I have been told the moisture has gotten between the wall and the tile and this is why we can't get rid of the mildew in the grout. I want to replace the tile with soild sheets of man made marble. This way we will only have to caulk the corner joints and won't have to contend with grout. Does anyone know where I can buy peices of the man made marble large enough to place around a tub/shower? Also, can I cut this material with a skill saw?

You can get cultured marble from any professional plumbing showroom.

You can cut cultured marble with a circular saw.

be careful when you go to your plumbing showroom since most of the time you see only a small sample of the cultured marble. Unless you go with an aggregate (Looks like stone) the marbling in some pieces are very wild and distinct which you may not like in large pieces. Dont forget to ask what is recommended for a substrate, if you do not use what they recommend sometimes it voids the warantee.
