Our shower enclosure is metal trim with glass inserts. The shower door has settled and is very difficult to open and close. Some rust has begun to show up around the bottom of the door and edges of the front trim. Can I buy the metal trim and replace the existing trim (frame) using the existing glass and install a new door? Is this a job for the weekend worker, if so, where can the material (trim) be purchased?

Shower door can be adjusted, but if yours is already rusting, it may need to be replaced anyway. I don't know if you can buy just the trim- there is a lot more to sealing the doors, sealing the trim, caulking, etc. than you may want to get in to. Get someone to come give you an estimate on fixing or replacing the door. Most glass companies carry shower door, as well as your home improvement stores. At least you'll know what kind of money you are trying to save.
