i have jewel tone couch with maroon, green, and blue flame stitching. what color of wall paint would you use? also can you only use solid colored curtains or can i use a pattern with flame stitching material? if so what kind of pattern?

I would use a creamy med/light tan color--not with pink undertones, but with yellow undertones. This is a neutral enough color, but it also has warmth. (Think coffee with a lot of cream in it!)

look closely at your couch fabric... look beyond the dominant colors amd see if there is a lighter more nuetral tone in there. A golden yellow, kahki, etc. Match that color if poss. It'll tie the room together.

If you have a lot of windows - making for a lot of curtain then i wouldn't go with too much pattern. If the curtains are minimal, then pattern would be okay. But make sure that they are VERY similar or else go with a completely different pattern that has the same colors (eg a simple stripe).
