Hello. New to the sight. Looking for some information on how to determine how out of level my concrete floor is and what is the best way to go about fixing it. I am converting an existing laundry area to a 1/2 bath. I have everything torn out and installed all of the new plumbing. Do I determine the high point and mark the walls with a level?

It depends how you plan to finish the floor. Íf you will be using ceramic tile, you can usea mortar bed to level the floor. If you plan to use vinyl tile, you should do as you say, find the high point, and bring the rest up to it, using a patching compound made for the purpose. Be sure you find a compound that can be applied at the thickness you need to level the floor.

Thanks for the info. I do plan on using ceramic tile and leveling with a leveling compound. I just wasn't sure how to determine the depth at the lowest point. So far I have used a level at the highest point and marked the wall all the way around. Then I measured the distance at the lowest level from the floor to the line and at the highest level from the floor to the line and found the difference. There just seemed to be an easier way. I am using a self leveler that is poured. It needs to be 2 3/8" deep
