My house is built 17 feet from busy highway & when tractor trailers come by it shakes the entire house. My sewer line was ran across the street underground. The patchwork over the pipes is sinking and the town refuses to fix for the next couple of years. The vibration rattles the glassware in the kitchen cabinets. Is there anything I can do? I was thinking there should be some type of foam that can be wrapped around the plumbing pipes & buried underground to help with the vibration? I don't know where to start looking for a contractor?

The vibration is most likely being transmitted through the ground itself, and not by the pipe. The only real cure is to repair the road.
