I had a home built in January 06' and have been having drainage problems. It seems that everytime it rains, or when I run the sprinkler, the water seems to find its way into my side garage door and runs all the way through my garage and out the front. I have contacted the builder about this, and was told that the landscaper is not taking responsibility for this since I built a walkway and have planted a few bushes on the property(?) He is coming to my house tomorrow with a waterproofing contractor to see what the problem may be. This situation, being my first house, is very confusing and disappointing to me. This just shouldn't happen with a brand new house!!! I just saw a short HGTV video about building a home on clay, which I do have a lot of (good ol' south for ya'). I need some help/advice on what I should do ASAP. I don ot want my house falling apart! It is only 5 months old, and i paid way too much money to be having these type of drainage problems. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. ThanksSmiler I have pictures of the drainage problems if anyone is interested in viewing them.
