Probably not, but a real asnwer cannot be given without knowing the exact.loads coming down in that exact spot onto the footing (still can't get used to calling them "footers") and also knowing something about the load bearing capacity of the soils directly under the footing. However, if it's a normal house, with normal loads, and decent soil, the width of the wall might be enough bearing area by itself.
