while i've talked a lot about my bilco door extension i do have another leak that i can't figure out how to deal with. in the front of the house the basement had a hole punched through to run the water line in from the street. when i first bought the house it was patched with some type of cement that was cracked in several places. when we have bad rains came a lot of water would stream through. a couple of weeks ago i chiseled out much of the old cement (as far back as i was able to get) and refilled with hydraulic cement. i packed it in nice and good. lo and behold after the bad rains we had this past week water is still getting in through this area. i can't without considerable effort get to the outside wall due to the location. is there something i can do on the inside to plug this leak? thanks.
