I wonder if anyone has experience with my situation. I have a poured wall foundation. The front porch is cast concrete with a cellar below. The porch was poured over a rubber membrane with the membrane extending out and over the sides of the poured wall. The area where the poured foundation meets the cast concrete is below grade and leaks water in very heavy rains and in the spring when the frost is coming out of the ground. It seems water is somehow pushing up and under the rubber membrane. I do not know how to stop it. I have the proper grade so water does flow away from the foundation. Any thoughts?

I don't understand

. Are not poured concrete and cast concrete the same thing?

Is there a cellar UNDERNEATH the front porch?

Does the rubber membrane extend down the full height of the porch walls and over the footing?

Does the rubber membrane extend left and right along the basement wall on either side of the porch?

Was the rubber membrane fully adhered to the porch foundation?

Does the porch foundation extend to the sme depth as the cellar walls?

Where on the wall does the water enter?

I believe the body of the e-mail states the cellar is below the front porch. The poured concrete walls were done first, then the front porch was later cast on top of the poured concrete walls. The rubber membrane extends below the area where the top of the poured wall meets the cast concrete of the porch by 8-12inches and it just hangs over the edge and appears to have not been adhered to the foundation sidewall. It extends across the entire porch area. The water gets in at the area where the poured foundation meets the cast porch.
It would be much easier to draw a picture-- I wish I could!
