Thanks for all of your previous help. I have 20 feet left before I can begin on the next phase of my french drain.

The grade of the land is level with some of the finished brick work, about 2 feet of it. Would it be better/easier to parge the brick so that the bituminous dampproofing material can be applied to a smooth surface?

Also, the 6-mil polyethylene film comes in a 100' by 10' roll. I need less than five feet. Would it be advantagous to double up (12-mil) the film?
