I would like some input from any of you that have used, or know someone who has used precast concrete foundation walls, particularly for a basement.

I've become interested in using them, but I only know the "good" about them. I need to find out the "bad and the ugly" now. Got some input from the other board, but would like your input.

Th thing that concerns me about precast concrete foundations is the multitude of joints and the total dependence on caulking or sealants to keep water, vermin and radon gas out. No one can guarantee that these seals will last forever.

Do a search using the 'Find' tool for "Superior Walls" and you'll see some previous comments on this subject.
