We just paid $2000 to get our basement repaired from the exterior (membrane, peasize gravel for drainage) and interior because of a leak seeping through the corner of the foundation. Attach are some photos. My waterproofer does not seem to definitively know what to do. He talks about letting the water come in and redirecting the water to the drain tile. Please advice - I do not want to spend more money and have the same problem. I can send you photos if that would help.
Plenty of information has been posted on this forum, most of it by LicensedWaterproofR, that the answers to most questions about water in basements is already here. In general, water belongs OUTSIDE your house, not in it, and anyone who suggests allowing it to enter should be viewed with great suspicion, because thay are not solving a problem, they are surrendering to it.
