Although the "French Drain" video is good advise, I believe you should have gone one step further. That is you should have included the basement also. The reason is "static pressure".... which can build up under the floor, and being trapped because the footings are lower then the floor grade thus creating the "static pressure. which can cause concrete floors to lift and crack. Just a thought.

Always lay down a gravel base then install your tile, cover the tile with at least two feet of 3/4" clean gravel when applicable. Two, the interior drainage is just as if not more important than the exterior drains. When addressing foundation drainage installation, we should address the entire system not just in part.
