I am planning on having our home painted next spring. I just had some questions about the whole process I was hoping someone may be able to answer for me. First, is it better to have the job done with a brush or via spray? The quote I got was for having it sprayed on. Does one last longer than another (I live in the midwest), and if so, how long do paint jobs generally last until it has to be done again. Additionally, I have a few screw holes in my aluminum siding. Are these generally patched by the painter or is it something I am responsible for, and if I am, what is the best way to fill these holes?

Are there any other important questions I should be asking the painter before I hire them in the spring?

Thank you ahead of time for any advice / answers you may be able to give me.
