I have decided to use a special roller to apply a layer of textured paint to me bedroom. The only issue is that it looks horrible. It looks like cheetah print or tire tracks. I know I cant paint over it and expect it to be flat. I either have to sand it, or just make the wall textured. what is the simplest option? and what supplies should I get?

Not a big issue. You were looking for a textured look, so by painting the wall over with another color paint then rag it or wipe it lightly will bring up some of the cheetah/tire tracks but not all of them. It will take some time but you can salvage what you have done and may end up with something even better.
Another method of fixing this is to re-roll the wall in the other direction to cross the texture. This will blend in the ridges and make the wall look better.
Go to any good quality paint supply center that offers design services. Not the big box store ones. These people can offer you several suggestions on how to make this look better.
Just so you feel better this happens all the time. Its not that hard to make it look good. Just need to be a little daring.

It was regular, flat, latex paint with a textured roller. Would it be too much to throw lots of primer over it, sand the high spots, then paint again. (this time nothin' crazy, just one color, flat paint)???
