and yes, I hate it! New home for us...out of money to redo. So how to make blaise grey formica bath sink pretty, interesting...anything please...
And has anyone done like a sea scene...as far as painting the walls a light beige and throwing sand on your paint job...or do you just mix it in...or both? Then I thought I'd find a way to apply some nice looking, not tacky starfish (or as they like to call them now...sea stars) here and there...Just something I can handle that is of interest.
Thanks for any encouraging words and ideas.

Depending on the size of the vanity, The big box stores sell some pretty reasonable combo vanity/top units. You would end up spending just about as much time fixing and painting the old one as it would cost to replace.
I do not suggest painting the room with a sand finish. Which by the way comes that way when you purchase the paint. Once you do this be prepared to have a nighmare on your hands when you decide to repaint it later. You will end up tearing off the walls to get them smooth again. Also sand finish on walls would be very difficult to keep clean. Dust would collect on the nooks and crannies that are created Have you looked into some wall paper? There are thousands of prints that all have a sea-style look if that is what your after. Very easy to put up and if the walls are properly prepared very easy to remove when your ready for a change.
