I'll second that! Strange the way all those macs are spotted throughout HGTV programming and this site doesn't fully support the MacOS. Hopefully the future will see this support.

We're aware that our Best Practices section is not viewable on Macs. We know we have Mac users out there and realize that you are interested in home building and remodeling just as the PC user is. We're addressing this issue and hope to have a solution soon. While working on this, please check out our other videos available. You can get to all our videos through our video section. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm glad to hear it. We're in the MIDDLE of a major remodel that we started in 1992. We need all the help we can get and we use only Macs. Please let us know when the problem is resolved. Thank you! Maura

Was very excited about hgtv.pro.com until I tried to utilize... why discriminate against MAC users? I've read your previous generic responses; however, I'm concerned with the apparent lack of concern and priority.
I also am very dissapointed by your lack of support for Mac users. Of the builders and remodelers that I know 60% use Macs. It seems a shame to ignore this group. I keep coming back to the videos hoping they have been fixed but am about to delete HGTV from my email.
I am writing on behalf of several families of Macintosh users on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and member of a Macintosh user's club here. The Gulf Coast is at the beginning of a large building and remolding boom. I was hoping to find your site as a resource for the quickly growing Macintosh population here. (Quickly growing because it seems people are getting tired of the security issues and escalating costs of running Windows.)
Unfortunately, after reading the comments on this board and the very generic responses over many months, it does not appear that this site will be supporting the Macintosh community any time soon. And here I am speaking to what would be considered very simple changes with big problems. You see, I just attempted, again, to access Flash movies on your site. Your browser sniffing code incorrectly identified that I did not have the Flash 7 Player.
That error is such an easy fix within your code that I cannot take seriously your statements that you are working for remedy the problems with Macintosh compatibility. However, let me say that you DO NOT need to fix the site for the Macintosh. Rather, you should work on making your site W3C compliant and get off the proprietary Microsoft kick. Building your site to open community standards would make your site available to everyone without any special effort on your part. And please don't sit in meetings and talk about how there are not any non-Microsoft tools for doing this as easily as the Microsoft tools do. If those conversation occur, you should strongly consider replacing your IT staff.
