I have been trying for sometime now get enter the sweepstakes. Originally I would get in with no problems, however, the last several months I have not been able to get in. Would you please check into this?

I also have tried many times to enter the sweeps. There must be a glitch on it.

I have entered and tried to enter several sweepstakes with HGTVPro's. The only one I have always had trouble with is the dailey sweeps offer. All the others are working as suppose to. With so many people hacking and causing trouble on web sites, why so quick to judge HGTV. And if someone just registered in October 2007, what would make u believe he set up the site? I am sure HGTVwould have someone working their web who had been there longer than 2 months.

We did recently experience some issues with the entry process for both Product of the Day Sweepstakes and the Builders Football League. However, these problems should now be resolved. If you continue to experience problems entering the contests and sweepstakes on HGTVPro.com, please let us know.

I posted in December about this issue that has been continuing for several months. The problem STILL exists when trying to enter sweepstakes. It is extremely time-consuming to repeatedly enter user name and password only to have the same pages popping back up (or getting one of two different "error" pages). It usually takes up to 15 or 20 minutes just to get logged in for sweepstakes entry. See my post on the other thread for "sweepstakes".

I actually recently received an email from HGTVPro that said the problem is fixed. It is not fixed! However, I managed to enter the sweepstakes in less than 15 minutes this time, with only about 15 or so attempts.

I also experience trouble when trying to log on for the sweepstakes. I normally have to try 10 to 15 times before I actually get loged on.

Well, it has been more than 6 months since this problem with the sweepstakes links has been occuring. It obviously is not fixed, and sometimes is even worse than most of the time!!

Well, we've moved out of the country, so I guess it won't affect me anymore. I am surprised they don't do more to straighten it out though. Good luck

For the last several days, whenever I TRY to enter the Product of the Day Sweepstakes, nothing happens. Have tried from several areas on the web site, but the hyperlinks for the sweeps just don't work--non of them take me anywhere!

This problem with the sweepstakes continues, even though many of us have posted on various message boards on the HGTVPro website. Emails to HGTVPro sometimes gets a response (not always), and the response is either the problem is being fixed or the problem IS fixed. However, as we all know, the problem is not fixed and it is even worse now than it has been since it first started occuring in October 2007.

I'm using Safari--and have been ever since discovering this sweeps several months ago. Never had this particular problem before.

The sweepstakes entry problem can be attributed to one thing -- the web site designer's use of Adobe Flash for unnecessary purposes.

All web site builders should be required to view/read every page of http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/.

I have been having the same troubles until today. I tried going in with Firefox. It worked, however this is just once. It may happen here as well after a few entries....

On your message boards there are numerous references to not being able to enter the sweepstakes for the Product of the Day. I read through some of the threads and tried the suggestions. Here are my results; AOL stayed the same no matter which "fix it" I tried, IEPro7 did not work any better, Firefox worked this one time. Whether it will continue to work is just a guess. What have you "fixed" in your numerous replies to the posts?? Is there something we need to do out here to get our computer to be able to access the sweepstakes???
