I'm building a home in a planned subdivision. Since they broke ground back in November of 04
the builder has change the superintendents three times. Needless to say my home is way behind schedule. Last time I stopped by the house the kitchen and bathrooms cabinets had been installed prior to the floors being tiled. Is there anything I can do about this or am I going to be stuck with tile around the cabinets?

You could make them take the cabinets out & put them back after the floor is done! It'll take more time out of your construction schedule, but what's a little more at this point. They'll try to talk you out of making them work more (because of their mistake), but stand firm. You are more likely to replace the vanity at some point than the floor. The tile - as is - makes your choices limited to something that will cover the bare floor they left you with.
