Hello! I am in the process of remodeling a late 1890's farmhouse in southern Indiana. I am planning on replacing a damaged hardwood floor in a dining room with a newer hardwood flooring. However, my question comes in regard to the color of the floor. My furniture for the room consists of dark cherry table/chairs and china cabinet. I have chosen a sage color of green with white trim for wall coverings. However, what color of hardwood flooring should I be looking into? A dark color to match the furniture, or a lighter wood to offset the dining set? Thanks for your advice! This is the last step of my process! I appreciate it! -Bryan
