I am planning a fully-exposed deck. Any ideas on the best artificial wood product?

Thank you,
M

The 2 biggest challanges we here about the composites like Trex is that they oxidize (Fade) and absorb stains like grease from potato chips.

Lately, more and more people are calling us to coat their existing wood decks with Aliphatic Polyurea material. Most people think of Spray-in Truck bed liners. It looks great, is color stable, and is tough as nails!

I don't know if that is an option in your area, but we buy our equipment and materials from http://www.nwcoatingproducts.com It is easy enough for the average DIYer, too.

Some of the newer man-made deck products are not supposed to fade to grey (even without stain/sealers). Check out what's currently available at the local lumber yards and home stores and make sure to tell them what you're looking for. Hope this helps.
