Well, in this world we need to save electricity.
SO, why not use a bulb of low wattage so that it would consume less electricity.
I generally use bulbs of 24 or 40 watts as they save electricity.

Using a lower wattage bulb does save some money. But at what cost? Straining to read or move about the home when its dark?
Installing new high efficency lights with more output of light per watt is the way to go.

Same here !
Even I use bulbs of low power such as 40 watts.
And I switch them off when there is no need of them as to save electricity.
Everyone should save electricity.
