Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes anyway:
It's time to replace my filter on a 20x40 Inground Pool. I currently have a Nautaulis DE filter, but after calling several pool places I am bit confused as some are recommending staying with a DE filter and some are saying now is the time to switch to a Sand filter. From what I have been reading, the DE cleans much faster?? One pool place recommended a Sand Filter with Zeobryte?? Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thanks!

Stick with what you already know. DE cleans the finer particals better then the sand filter. It cost more but works better. I had a sand filter on my pool for many years. Made the switch a few years ago and was pleased with the results.
